All these masks look so similar to Revan's...

His mask is actually Mandalorian in origin.

yeah, I know. But they're both very similar. Malgus' master has one that looks VERY similar to Revan's.

Yeah, I think the idea was that they wanted the Sith to have somewhat of a Revan feel to them, maybe to better connect them to him or simply because, lore-wise, they admire him.
